Editing

We have now completed out editing. After re-filming our footage came out a lot clearer. We also had the chance to take some shots at different angles. We filmed this first and then we came back and fitted it to the time line on final cut express. We decided to do it this way round as then we would know exactly what we needed to film for the narrative.

When filming the narrative we thought we would tell the story of how the boy was trying to get with the girl but she was not at all interested in him. We showed this through him taking an almost stalkering approach and following her.

We showed their different class by the amount of costume changes they had. The female character has 3 costume changes and he wears the same throughout the same thing. This shows his uncleanliness and that he cares less about his appearance.

We used the lead singer of the band to take the lead role on the video as this will create a link between the band and the narrative. He is also wearing a hurricanes t-shirt which is advertising the band.

We have used product placement by putting having him give her some chocolate fingers. This is something commonly found in music videos. This would help to advertise the product. Their audience will see them with the product and want to buy it.
